The Confluence Project Lantern Paddle

Moonglow: Lyndon’s inaugural lantern parade. VT
On March 1st 2018, Lyndon will host their inaugural lantern parade 6-7pm at the Municipal Building Complex in Lyndonville, VT. Workshops have been held over a series of weeks with students at the Lyndon Town School, Lyndon Institute and local residents during a community workshop-program.

Rutland Carving Center, Community Workshop
On Saturday October 7th, Rutland Carving Center will be hosting a community lantern-workshop in preparation for the annual Rutland Halloween Parade. This year’s theme is World Masks. Germantown Friends School in Germantown, PA will be hosting their first community lantern parade this coming Fall. The free community workshop-program includes a two-day artist workshop on September 23-24, two community-workshops on September 30 (10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm) and a culminating parade on October 21st, 7pm. Wild Women of Windsor
In late April 2017, the Wild Women of Windsor–a women’s business consortium in Windsor, VT–made pyramid lanterns during a one-day workshop. Lanterns will be suspended in camps, and homes and the beautifully renovated Welcome Center in Windsor. The Wild Women loved their introduction to lantern-building; next stop will be larger, wilder luminaries!
